The woman admitted to the hospital had recently given birth to a baby girl. However, the newborn reportedly went missing just a day after her birth. After failing to locate the baby within the hospital premises, the family informed the police.
CCTV Footage Being Examined
Considering the seriousness of the incident, Tehsil Police have started examining CCTV footage from inside the hospital and surrounding areas. Police are questioning hospital staff, patients, relatives and others who were present on the premises at the time.
During the investigation, police reportedly noticed the movements of a suspicious woman wearing a burqa. However, police have not yet officially confirmed her identity or involvement in the incident.

Search Extended Beyond Hospital Premises
Police are also checking CCTV footage from roads, lanes and major routes around the hospital, keeping in mind the possibility that the baby may have been taken outside the hospital.
