Visiting the Sultan Battery–Tannirbhavi bow-string bridge construction site, the commissioner gathered information about the project's progress from Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL) officials. Following this, he assessed the condition of the roads in the Sultan Battery vicinity.
The commissioner visited the site of the 450m Nethravati Waterfront Development Project, undertaken by MSCL, to review the ongoing work. During the visit, he held discussions with officials regarding potential tourism development opportunities in the area.
Later, he inspected the concrete road and underground drainage (UGD) work currently in progress under the Mahatma Gandhi Nagara Vikasa Yojane 2.0 scheme on the stretch connecting Valencia-St Gerosa School to Suterpete.
Engineering officials briefed the commissioner on the progress of the road works. Officials from the MCC engineering department and MSCL were present during the inspection.
