BMTC has introduced 10 Vegadootha limited stop (express) services, establishing direct and swift transit between Magadi Road toll gate and Magadi town.
Operating under route no. EX-240MD, the buses will make 62 daily trips at 25-minute frequency. By bypassing minor halts and stopping only at Kamakshipalya, Summanahalli, Sunkadakatte, Gollarahatti, Honaganahatti, Tavarekere, Varadenahalli Handpost and Hospet Circle, the route avoids congestion and reduces travel time.
While BMTC already operates 313 scheduled services along the busy Magadi corridor, high demand from outlying areas prompted the introduction of this express option. Commuters can travel the entire stretch from Magadi Road toll gate to Magadi for a capped fare of Rs 55, which includes all GST and toll charges.
